Environmental Sustainability: Our Ingredients and Boards

Cheeseboards 4 Change aims to use only locally sourced and humanely produced cheeses and charcuterie. Our boards are reclaimed slate roofing tiles or hardwood pieces that have been cleaned and treated so they're food safe. One of the goals of Cheeseboards 4 Change is to support environmentally sustainable practices by reusing materials and eliminating plastics in our products and packaging.

Supporting Our Local Economy

Cheeseboards 4 Change is researching ways in which we can partner with local artisans and purveyors to help support our local economy. And we continue to find ways to work with the people providing services for the people who need them.

What Is Food Security?

“Food security exists when all people at all times have physical, social and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.“ There are four dimensions of food security: availability, access, stability and utilization.

--UN World Food and Agriculture Organization,  World Food Summit 1996
